Job Title : Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor (Groundworks) Location : Bristol, United Kingdom Company : Konnect Recruit Job Type : Full-Time, Permanent Salary : 50,000 - 70,000 dependent on experience Job Description : As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee cost management for groundworks projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Youll bring a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and expertise in groundworks and civil engineering. Key Responsibilities : Cost Management : Prepare and control project budgets, conduct cost analysis, manage subcontractor payments, and identify cost risks. Estimating & Tendering : Prepare accurate tender submissions, analyse documents, and collaborate with procurement teams. Contract Administration : Manage contracts (NEC/JCT), ensure compliance, and handle variations and disputes. Project Management : Work with project managers and site teams to ensure successful delivery and provide cost advice. Reporting : Prepare financial reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure regulatory compliance. Requirements : Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with groundworks expertise. Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts. Strong financial, analytical, and negotiation skills. Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office.
