Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created organisation to be based in Teesside. The business is pioneering renewable energy and is formed from major stakeholders who will create the future of Teesside's CCS. You will have regulatory experience and expertise - understanding legal documents, regulations and knowledge of competition law, anti-bribery and business separation mandates.You will possess strong analytical skills to interpret compliance requirements and identify potential issues. You will have a Bachelors degree in Compliance, Accounting/Audit, Business, Finance or Law You will have at least 10 years of Audit, Legal or Ethics and compliance experience.You will ideally have knowledge/awareness of OFGEM Regulatory approach and T&S licence conditions or have experience in business separation/ring-fencing controls, systems or processes. Experience in a similar role within a regulated industry is advantageous, particularly the energy sector. This includes developing compliance programs, conducting training, managing information security and engaging with regulatory bodies.
