With a supportive environment we encourage personal and professional development too.Youll work cross functionally and collaboratively, always strive to be the best and even have some fun along the way.About the roleYou will support the Product Development Manager in the development of commercially viable products to concept approval in accordance with the critical path. You will also develop new and innovative recipe dishes, alongside the NPD Manager being aware of cost at concept stage. Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:Be proactively aware of food trends, new concepts/packaging, fulfilling your role to meet the demands of the business using media, analysing retail products and developing a knowledge of the retail and food service market to enable creation of innovative recipe dishes to match the customers needsDevelop and maintain effective customer communication and relationships throughout the development processAdhere to product briefs from internal and external sources to develop recipes for product trials Assist the Production Team, Process Team and Technical team with problem-solving for all product related issuesCompletion of all relevant paper work using the Companys recipe development procedures with the attention to detail and costing of recipes Presentation of products at internal and external taste panels on a regular basis in a professional manner ensure consistently high standard samples Skills & ExperienceEssential:Demonstrable food manufacturing knowledgeFood Hygiene Certificate level 4Desirable:One year minimum experience with an up-to-date knowledge of food manufacturing, processes & equipment and some ready meal manufacturer experience HACCP trained BenefitsOur benefits package includes:25 days holiday, plus 8 days bank holiday and opportunity to purchase an additional weekRestaurant and retailer discountsHealthcare cash planEnhanced maternity/paternity leaveEmployee assistance programme GroceryAidLong service awardsReward & recognitionFree parking onsiteRewards discount / cashback scheme at over 150 retailers.
