Our client supplies into the the major supermarkets and you will be responsible for managing the supply of products from suppliers and manufacturing sites across the world to UK warehouses.Supply Planner responsibilities:Forecasting stock requirements in line with the business strategy, seasons and promotional activity.Managing inbound transport costs to reduce cost impact as well as optimising efficiency.Building strong relationships with suppliers to reduce supply issuesMaximising transport efficienciesWorking with 3rd party manufacturers to improve service ensuring efficiency of manufacturing.Managing all documentation for the shipment of drink products in the UK.Monitoring and managing freight forwarder KPIs to ensure value-for-money coupled with excellent serviceManage and develop one direct reportSupply Planner requirementsHigh attention to detailSupply chain experience ideally working in an fmcg environmentAdvanced Excel skills knowledge of pivot tables, formulas, v-lookupsEuropean languages would also be a bonus
