Our client is an established supplier based in Central London, who have been successful in working with some much-loved names on the high street.They have an opportunity to join their team as a Garment Technologist, working within their established team on childrenswear and some ladieswear. This is a great opportunity for a Garment Tech join this lovely team.Working within the established technical team, you would be all technical queries on styles from initial fitting through to production:Managing your own accounts and styles, you will provide support to the team on all technical queries across stylesAble to create and drive the fitting process from initial fitting through to sealing and production, ensuring all comments from the customers are followed and the desired fit and aesthetic are achieved whilst keeping it within cost and on time deliveryAble to reply to all queries from the suppliers and customer accurately and concisely, and within the time frame required to ensure no delay to deliveryWorking through any technical issues with the team and be able to confidently manage and resolve problems as they ariseBe able to risk assess styles from the outsetEnsure all specs and technical packs are kept updatedOur client is looking for someone who:Has previous experience within a garment technical role across either womenswear or childrenswear clothingA dynamic individual who can work well, managing your own styles, driving the technical queriesProven technical skills and garment construction knowledge, be able to drive a fit meeting independently.Excellent attention to detail coupled with good problem-solving skills and the ability to build successful working relationships both internally and externally with suppliers and customersExcellent communication skills including good written and spoken language skills, being able to effectively communicate with the teams both in house and offshoreFlexible attitude, a strong work ethic and excellent organisational and time management skillsSalary on offer is 30-40K dependant on experience. 1 day WFH is available.Offices are based in Zone 1.
