Job Description

Senior HR Advisor (x2)Salary: 38,000 - 42,000 per annumContract: Fixed term (6-12 months)We are currently seeking two experienced Senior HR Advisors to work with a prestigious higher education institution in Wales. This is a varied and rewarding role, where you will provide expert HR advisory support and guidance to a range of stakeholders during a period of organisational transformation.You will bring a wealth of generalist HR experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage employee relations, organisational change, and HR projects effectively.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive HR advisory services across the organisation.Provide guidance on all aspects of HR management, including employee relations, policy implementation, and workforce planning.Manage disciplinary, grievance, and appeal cases in line with legal best practices and organisational policies.Lead consultation and engagement activities with key stakeholders, including trade unions.Develop and evaluate job descriptions and job catalogues in collaboration with HR colleagues.Support staff development initiatives by offering advice, training, and guidance aligned with HR policies and practices.Provide leadership to HR Advisors and Administrators as needed.Review and improve HR processes and practices, ensuring they remain effective and compliant.What Youll Need:Degree or equivalent professional HR experience (CIPD associate membership or higher preferred).Demonstrable generalist HR experience, with a proven track record of managing employee relations and delivering HR projects.Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.Excellent IT, analytical, and reporting skills, with the ability to use data to inform HR decisions.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Desirable Skills:Experience in a higher education or similarly complex organisation.Fluency in Welsh (written and oral).This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly regarded institution, supporting them through a critical period of transformation.
