Synchronicity Financial Services is delighted to be supporting another longstanding client as they look to recruit a Trustee Secretarial & Governance Associate on a permanent basis. This role can be based in either London or Bristol, and we're looking for the incumbent to be office-based at least twice a week.This is the perfect opportunity for anyone within the TPA or consultancy space with experience in working on trust-based arrangements and might be looking for something a bit different. You will be given the platform to work autonomously while also being supported to develop your skills & knowledge. Our client adopts a culture where staff are entrusted to deliver on the work they are assigned, measuring staff on output only.You will focus on maintaining good governance of occupational pension schemes, inculding ongoing, PPF or schemes going through wind-up. Depending on experience, the incumbent may also act as scheme secretary with support from more senior members of the team for more strategic decision-making. You will also be involved in various scheme events, so you must be able to demonstrate experience of working on projects end-to-end.Day-to-day will include liability exercises, board effectiveness assessments, annual reg reporting, member cases, and benchmarking. To be considered, applicants must have strong DB knowledge but ideally be well versed across both DB and DC as well as Master Trusts.
