There will be a particular focus on kit to be used in Tunnelling and Energy in the coming years.This high-impact role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can ensure the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of operations, while driving external business opportunities with major contractors.What Were Looking ForEssential Skills & Experience:Proven track record in managing Plant & Transport businesses at scale (This could be a contractor-owned plant business, a plant-hire company, a contractor outsourcing plant, or a major manufacturer of plant).Substantial experience in client, supply chain, and stakeholder management.Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.Strong expertise in business change, operational performance reviews, and improvement initiatives.Commercial and contractual acumen with a focus on driving operational profitability.A visible commitment to fostering a safety-first culture with expertise in safety management and leadership.Personal Attributes:A collaborative and culturally aware leader who understands the dynamics of contractor-owned plant businesses.Hands-on and visible leadership style with a passion for empowering and developing colleagues.
