Social Media Content Specialist Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 17:30pmLocation: Southampton office based, option for Hybrid after probationSalary: 35,000 per annumPurpose of the job;Support the Social Media Manager to increase reach and engagement across Garmin UK social channels by creating and executing organic social content and effectively delivering community management strategies, all to maximise ROI.Key Duties;Daily management of Garmin UK social media channels in line with UK and Ireland marketing strategyCreate engaging, social-first content for Garmin UK social channels (organic and paid) which promotes key brand-focussed messages in a clear and effective way, retaining the global brand identity at all timesDeliver effective and consistent community management by playing an active role on our social feedsManage the social media calendar to maximise the impact of product launches, events and brand campaigns (both global and local content)Research and monitor the latest social media marketing trends and maintain a level of professional knowledge of social media tactics available to GarminManage influencer communications across multiple segments to ensure relationships with our brand advocates remains strong and output is effectiveCollaborate with Segment Marketing team on brand ambassador plans, ensuring we maximise the opportunity on Garmin and ambassador social channelsWork alongside Social Media Manager to track and report on social media activity, converting data into insight in order to achieve maximum ROI.Ensure effective internal communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed of social media activity.Education & Experience;Minimum 2 years experience in a similar social media roleExperience creating engaging and innovative social-first content for a brandGood level of content editing skills across video and imagery.
