Our client within the Private Sector based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a property and construction environment.Key purpose of the role is to be part of an established team of Building Surveyors covering all aspects of professional and project Building Surveying across the private and public sector. They will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for clients, and reinforcing the organisation's reputation as a service provider of choice. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Delivering projects, commissions, and professional assignments from inception to completionMaintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projectsLiaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial controlDelivering all work output in an accurate and timely mannerRepresenting the organisation in a professional and diligent manner, meeting and negotiating with clients to form strong working relationships The Candidate To be considered for this role you will require:BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or an equivalent construction-related qualificationMRICS with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience The below skills would be beneficial for the role:Experience in residential and commercial propertyStrong IT skills including AutoCAD (not essential), NBS, MS Project, Outlook, Word, and ExcelWell-developed skills in surveys, dilapidations, repairs, maintenance, and contract administrationExcellent technical writing and communication skillsOrganised, proactive, and commercially astute approach The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such is offering a Salary of up to 60,000 p/a with an additional 5000 company car allowance.
