This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pattern Cutter to join a luxury fashion brand in the Midlands , who has been at the forefront of luxury bridal and eveningwear for 32 years. They are looking for a Part-Time Pattern cutter to join their team for 1-2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be confident creating accurate patterns and working with intricate and luxury apparel. Gerber experience would be preferable.Part-time Pattern Cutter (Luxury) The Role. Develop new style patterns for productionWork closely with the sample, design and technical teams on daily basisDevelop production Made to Measure and design change patterns on Gerber both prior to and post toile fittingProvide technical support to all areas of the production departmentLiaise with design department and ensure tech packs are detailed and accurate ready for new collectionsLiaise with machinists to monitor, maintain, and improve standards of quality & fit and resolve any pattern issuesPart time Pattern Cutter (Luxury) The Person:Minimum of 5 years experience of Pattern making CAD/CAM systems, knowledge of Gerber would be a distinct advantageManual pattern cutting to an above average standardExperience of luxury apparel would be very desirable , especially BridalGood understanding of different sewing techniques and garment constructionAbility to communicate with people of all backgrounds both internally and externallyAbility to plan own workload, recognising priorities in relation to the smooth and efficient function of the overall businessComputer literacy on Microsoft packagesMust have experience in a similar roleIf this is of interest then please do get in touch.We regret that due to the high amount of interest that we receive for each of our vacancies, if you do not hear from one of our consultants within 5 days then unfortunately you have not been shortlisted for this role.Please check our website for other roles which may be of interest .
