JOB ROLE: HIRE DESK MANAGERThis is an office-based role so you must live within a daily commutable distance to Avonmouth, Bristol.King Lifting provides safe, expert crane hire, bespoke contract lifting and plant machinery movement, plus transport and storage, for the public and private sectors. This is an exciting opportunity with lots of scope for individuality, continuous improvement and achievement when presented with numerous challenges. This will be a very busy and challenging role so we are looking for a confident individual who can thrive under pressure with excellent attention to detail.Duties will include:Allocation of our assets (cranes, labour and accessory equipment) with the support of the Hire Desk Assistant to ensure optimum utilisation is achieved.Raising contracts, job sheets, operator tickets and inputting customer timesheets.Organising site visits for our technical representatives and daily sales calls to customers.Dealing with local authorities, traffic management companies managing road closures and permits.Chasing debtors and overdue payments.Essential Requirements:Relevant experience within a similar role preferably gained within the crane or plant hire industryOperational understanding of cranes, transport or hire deskPeople management experienceConfident with excellent communication and organisation skillsPrioritisation and the ability to work under pressureIn return you will receive:Competitive salary dependent on your skills and experienceQuarterly bonus (dependent upon the results of your depot)Generous holiday allowanceCompany pensionLife assuranceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible Benefits Platform with generous monthly Company contributionReward and recognition incentivesRetail discount hubsHours of work will be 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday - office based.You must have the right to live and work in the UK otherwise, your application will automatically be rejected.
