Pre-construction AdministratorGalldris GroupLocation: Birmingham, England, United KingdomAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pre-construction Administrator to join our Work Winning team at our Birmingham Office.The Pre-construction Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Estimating department and assisting the proposal team in the preparation of bid documentation.As a Pre-construction Administrator, you will provide essential support to the Work Winning team and the wider bid process, ensuring efficiency and organisation across all preconstruction activities.Key Accountabilities to include but not limited to:Opportunity Management: Undertake administrative tasks related to the collection and logging of new opportunities and tender information for distribution within the teamEnquiry Handling: Download and log new enquiries and tenders onto the system, allocating job numbers for tracking purposesBid Compilation: Assist with compiling bid responses for EOIs, RFIs, and PQQs, including gathering the necessary data from contributors and internal teamsTender Library Administration: Support the maintenance and updating of the tender library, ensuring the most recent bid responses are accurately loggedPost-Bid Support: Assist with post-tender activities, such as logging information for future referenceDocument Distribution: Manage the distribution of tender documents, addenda, and related materials to the bid team and other relevant stakeholdersSupport for Estimators and Managers: Assist estimators and preconstruction managers in collecting and organising works and site information for suppliers and subcontractorsGeneral Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative assistance to support the wider office team and directors as requiredThis role requires excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively support multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentQualifications/ Experience/Knowledge Essential Criteria:GSCE or equivalentProficiency in IT packages including Microsoft OfficeDesirable Criteria:A Levels or equivalentPrevious office/administration experience within the construction industryPrevious experience of supporting a preconstruction teamPrevious experience in document managementSkills:Attention to detailAbility to work on own initiativeSelf-motivated and enthusiasticProven communication skillsAble to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in IT packages including Microsoft OfficeYou will be joining a great team with plenty of ongoing support, training and internal development opportunities; a summary of our benefits include:25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with serviceAccess to our employee referral scheme, with rewards between 500 to 1000Access to a range of wellbeing resourcesAccess to private medical insurance after successful completion of your probationCompany Life AssuranceInterested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK.Should you feel you have what it takes to be successful in this role then we would love to hear from you.Employee referral scheme - refer a friend or family member to work for Galldris.Galldris is an Equal Opportunities employer and does not discriminate against any protected characteristic.Please note: We are not using recruitment agencies for this role.
