We love hard-working and talented people with a can-do attitude and a passion for what they do.THE ROLEAs Assistant Branch Merchandiser, youll be at the heart of the action - driving sales, managing stock, and ensuring smooth operations across web and concessions. Your strong communication and problem-solving skills will help balance supply and demand, keeping everything running efficiently.Reporting to the Merchandiser, youll analyse sales, identify opportunities, and ensure critical path deadlines are met to deliver the best product range to our customers. Youll also play a key role in mentoring our Merchandising Admin Assistants, making this a great opportunity if you enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others grow.THE RESPONSIBILITIESTradingOversee daily replenishment to ensure stock is allocated to the right channels (Hush direct, John Lewis, Morley's & Fenwick).Foster strong relationships with the retail team to build on opportunities in our concessionsLiaise with the operational team to ensure warehouse dispatch forecasts maintained.Produce trading reports to analyse, summarise and identify key sales drivers.Make weekly trading proposals to the Merchandiser in relation to sales reactions and stock management.Experienced in forecasting Line cards for projections of continuity productManage intake in conjunction with the Buying department, ensuring critical dates are met for product launch.Merchandising systemsDevelop excellent working knowledge of merchandising systems (Business Central dynamics-365, DOMO)Identify and propose improved working practicesAction integrity checks regularly to ensure smooth running of departmentManagement, Training and DevelopmentOversee the workload of the merchandising admin assistants on a day-to-day basisWillingness to step in and support with admin tasks as needed to meet deadlinesSupport peers and seek opportunities to grow skill set through on-the-job training, Hush development sessions, Lunch and LearnsWork with the team to implement and continuously improve ways of workingTHE PERSON1-2 years experience in merchandising or similar role.Proficient in Excel, using formulas, pivot tables and updating reports (essential)Comfortable with hybrid working (min. 3 days in office, 1 day from home)Numerical excellence/mathematical abilityWell organised with high attention to detailStrong commercial acumenProactive team playerWe are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion in everything we do.
