We have an opportunity for a Paralegal within our Travel team based from our Southampton office. Our award winning team act for claimants and defendant insurers and airlines following accidents or claims that occur abroad or during travel.The Travel team handles the full range of injury claims to include catastrophic injuries - such as head and spinal injuries and amputations and all manner of insurance disputes. With some of the leading lawyers at the cutting edge of this very interesting area of law, we are a commercially focused and friendly team, dedicated to getting the right results for our clients whatever their circumstances.Whilst previous experience within a travel claims environment is not required, all candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong interest in this area of law. Ideally you will have previous experience as a personal injury paralegal and be fluent in either German, Spanish, French or Italian. We support hybrid working, typically with 3 days flexible office attendance, according to business need.Skills / Experience RequiredAll applicants must hold a law degree and/or have previous experience within a legal support or paralegal role within a firm.Travel claims or litigation/ personal injury experience would be beneficialA modern foreign language ability in German, Spanish, French or Italian is highly desirableConfident and personable - able to place clients at ease and build rapport over the phoneUnderstands the commercial aspects of delivering legal servicesA team player - willing to support others and be flexibleStrong academics with the ability to learn and quickly apply new areas of lawAbility to work within a fast paced environmentExperience in providing an excellent level of client/customer service
