HOK has an established portfolio of creative design projects delivered to clients globally, working across multiple disciplines including workspace design, hospitality, sports & entertainment and healthcare. Diversity, equity and inclusion is also integral to how we do operate and lead the way as a thriving global firm.With the support of both the Managing Principal and Firmwide Director of Interiors, and together with the established Interiors team, as the Director of Interiors at HOKs London studio you will have the responsibility of spearheading the department, leading the team and providing the vision, thought and drive to secure new project work.Key Skills & Competencies:Marketing and business development opportunities, client engagement and relationshipsWinning and securing new project work for Interiors sector and HOKStrategic visioning for both the Interiors department and contributions to the future of the London studio and wider firmLeadership and supervision of employees work and wellbeing. Mentorship of team development and growth, putting collaboration and inclusion foremostDevelopment of fee proposals, contract management and negotiationThorough knowledge of work plans, schedules, resourcing and budgets. Proven ability to deliver projects profitablyAstute eye for design quality and integration of sustainable design solutionsAdvanced and intelligent knowledge of design trends and future direction, FF&E, finishes, construction methodology, materials application and manufacturer supplier-appropriatenessStrong connections with manufacturers and design industry specialistsAs a global architecture, design engineering and planning firm, HOK delivers imaginative and solution-driven projects with technical excellence to inspire clients and communities.
