We are looking to recruit a Virtual Designer within our London & East construction business. Our office is in Hitchin (Hertfordshire), and we deliver large scale construction projects across multiple sectors within north London, the northern home counties and East Anglia. This will be a hybrid role working 3 days a week in Hitchin / 2 days a week from homeThe Virtual Designer will take the lead in proposing and developing visualisation solutions that play a critical role in improving communication, aiding in decision-making, and enhancing customer understanding throughout the construction process.You will be task-oriented and take accountability for visualisation across multiple projects from start to completion.The ideal candidate should have experience in 3D modelling. You will create 4D animations to support our construction methodology and logistics as well as creating breath-taking CGIs within the rendering software, occasionally utilising photoshop.The role will include:Working with our bid operational lead to create logistics and construction methodology visuals/animations to enhance the bidResearching new techniques and bettering the buildability capabilities within the desired softwares.Developing innovative ways to improve our competitive submissions, bringing our construction methodology to life.Collaborating closely with project teams to meet project visualisation needs. Proficiently developing versatile 3D models for applications such as CGI renders, flythroughs, and immersive VR experiences. Contributing to the construction of comprehensive 3D asset libraries. Continuously enhancing technical proficiency by staying updated on software and digital modelling tools.
