You will report to the Head of PMO and collaborate with all colleagues in the business, including Business Analysts, Implementation Consultants, QA & Testers, Release managers, Security, Risk and Compliance, IT Support, Product teams and more to deliver projects (internal and external).Our project managers are such an important part of our delivery they are the glue that holds it all together. Youll be responsible for turning the product vision and business plans into epic mapping, story writing and sprint planning in combination with our implementation consultants and system application team.This role requires experience/awareness of Agile and Waterfall development practices (approach dictated by client). You will need to balance internal business needs with client demands managing complex technical solutions while taking into account all stakeholder needs. The ideal candidate will have experience of UK Pensions as well as excellent communication and diplomacy skills to work through technical decisions with our team as well as with adjacent teams and clients. What will you be doing:Managing a team (size varies with project size, and as a senior PM youll get the bigger more complex ones) of implementation consultants, business analysts, developers, testers and release managersWorking closely with our clients to agree delivery requirements, milestones, governance, and agreed ways of working Working on projects worth upwards of 3mWriting a Project Initiation Document (PID) and running project kick off meetingsDeveloping and maintaining a project plan.
