Hays are now looking for a Data Migration Platform Lead for one of our local clients.Day Rate: Up To 550 p/d inside IR35Hybrid WorkingLocation is WiltshireIn the role, you will lead the external supplier and internal resources to migrate off the legacy platform onto the newly built AWS data platform supporting the organisation. Lead the migration design & implementation for the Integration Platform (AWS Glue, S3, Python, AWS API Gateway, AWS Batch, Mulesoft) and design and implement new integrations as requiredDeep dive into all migration tasks for the Data Platform across all technologies (AWS Postgres, Data Lake, MySql, Lambda functions, AWS batch, Python)Manage external supplier needs and internal business prioritiesCreate new architectural patterns where neededCreate system designs including system component models, data models, data flows, and functional design specificationsEvaluate data model design, identifying gaps, and align proposed changes and impacts with best practices and established guidelines.Design and build all back end ETL, data platforms, and processing systems to deliver migration of the new platformLead routine deployment activities effectivelyEnable effective technical review standard and checklist to identify gaps in technical deliveries Manage effective decommissioning plan for the legacy systemsIf you have the above experience and are looking for a new role, please apply now or send a copy of your up-to-date CV to jonathan.davies1@hays.com
