Formed in 2013 in Westminster, Tamar relies on a network of female volunteers who reach out to be-friend people caught up in the sex industry, offering hope through a broad range of practical, emotional and spiritual support, as well as sharing the good news of the gospel.The RoleOversees all aspects of volunteer recruitment, coordination, training and support including the on-going development of Tamar volunteersPlans for people resources over time, ensuring Tamar has a pipeline of volunteers to engage in all aspects of the ministryWorks closely with the Head of Tamar to assess the effectiveness of support provision to volunteers and drives operational improvementsMaintains and documents all effective operational processes and policies concerning all volunteers, identifying improvements and developing others as requiredLiaises with All Souls finance team regarding aspects of Tamars finances relating to volunteersLiaises other ASSTC ministries, as required on volunteer management and other tasks.Acts as a representative of Tamar and ASSTC, including speaking at internal and external events, participating in team meetings and leading prayer times, as requiredResponsible for data entry control and quality checking.
