Job description:We are seeking a Press Coordinator to join our London Marketing Office team. This is a full-time permanent position with a hybrid work model of three days in the office and two days from home. This role reports directly to the Brand Communications Manager, with oversight from the Marketing Director.As Press Coordinator, you will support Miistas press and communications efforts, helping to amplify our brand presence across fashion, lifestyle, and business media. You will be responsible for assisting in daily press relations, coordinating sample management, supporting events production, and liaising with external agencies and partners. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fashion PR within an independent and fast-growing brand.Main Responsibilities:Support day-to-day press activities, including media outreach, press coverage monitoring, and reporting.Assist in the development of press materials such as releases, media alerts, and brand stories, ensuring they align with Miistas tone of voice.Coordinate sample trafficking, working closely with stylists, editors, and influencers to maximize brand visibility in key publications.Maintain and update press contact lists and media databases, ensuring a well-organized PR network.Assist in the organization and execution of press events, brand activations, and seasonal press days.Liaise with external PR agencies and freelance consultants to ensure global press strategies are executed effectively.Monitor and analyze press coverage, audience engagement, and PR campaign performance, providing regular updates to the team.Support VIP and stylist relationships, ensuring Miista is well-represented in key fashion moments.Ideal Candidate Requirements:1-3 years of experience in fashion PR, communications, or a related field (agency or in-house experience preferred).A strong understanding of fashion and lifestyle media, with some existing industry connections being a plus.Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling brand stories.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Passionate about storytelling, branding, and digital media, with an interest in independent fashion.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and social media platforms.Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of initiative.Familiarity with Miistas brand identity and values before the interview is a must.Based in London, with the ability to attend in-person press events and activations. Occasional UK and EU travel may be required.Working knowledge and experience, preferably with an existing network within the fashion/music/culture/art community, including stylists, celebrities, influencers, and fashion editors.Passion for storytelling and brand development, with a focus on slow fashion and short supply chains.Flexible and resourceful, able to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a small, dynamic team environment.Our Position: The Opposite ThingDesigned in London Made in Spain EU Sourced and ProducedMiista upends the exclusionary practices of the fashion industry to show how were actually living now.
