We are a family owned and run business and truly hold our values at the heart of everything we do offering a unique and friendly place of work; whilst maintaining the highest of professional standards.We currently have vacancies for a proactive and qualified Welder to join our team.Responsibilities:Weld metal components according to engineering specificationsResponsible for carrying out all types of MIG welding to high standards using engineering drawings and jig arrangements.Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal partsDeposit welds that pass both visual and NDE examinationsBe able to Weld all metal components according to engineering specificationsBe able to read and understand weld symbols on engineering drawings providedAdhering to all she related standards associated with welding, including fume controlInspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairsFollow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environmentRequirements:Proven experience as a welder or similar role - at least 5 years experienceStrong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking processesProficient in welding techniques, including stick weldingAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurementsFamiliarity with power tools, hand tools, and equipment used in metal fabricationBasic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accuratelyAbility to assemble fabricated parts into finished productsExperience in 2G Flat / 3G Vertical / 4F Overhead welding is required.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
