They are looking for a Production Technician join their team in Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis.The Production Technician will ideally have the following attributes:Experienced in a similar technical, hands-on Engineering positionKnowledge of testing within product development testing to standards / defining your own testingExperienced with prototyping and product developmentA background in ManufactureExcellent attention to detailAble to read engineering drawings and BOMsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenProficient using MS OfficeExcellent organisational skills and time management skillsHave the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary teamThe Production Technician role will involve:Mechanical testing and manufacture of a variety of components and equipmentDeveloping new and existing productsHandling compliance and test specificationsWorking to procedures and instructionsAssisting the quality team with functional and visual inspectionWorking to procedures and compliance standardsTesting, fault-finding and repairUsing CAD to produce technical drawings, reading, annotating, creating jigs, fixtures, and testing apparatusWorking both independently and in a teamCommunicating with different departments to resolve technical issuesIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
