Bank Holidays)Supportive Environment: Training on products and processesTravel Opportunities: Occasional travel to exhibitions, suppliers, and customer sitesAs Senior Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Specifying and designing mechanical parts, from small components to complete productsDeveloping electro-mechanical and pneumatic assemblies with components such as pumps, valves, fans,Performing engineering calculations and using FEA tools to validate designsWorking across the full product lifecycle, from concept to detailed design, manufacturing and customer supportLeading design reviews, supporting other engineersPlanning and documenting work, creating or updating technical manuals, test procedures, assembly instructions,As Senior Design Engineer, your skills and experience will include:A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering with post-graduation experienceProficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with managing drawings and models through a PDM systemProject management experience, including leading the technical aspects with a good understanding of project methodology (APM or PRINCE 2 qualification)Understanding of manufacturing and experience in designing products for small-scale manufactureKnowledge of Product Safety Directives and the steps required to lead design reviewsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to work under pressureIf you are a meticulous and detail-oriented professional looking to make a significant impact in a thriving company, we want to hear from you.
