Spectrum Geosurvey are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our growing team based in our Lymington office.Position OverviewAs a Geophysicist, you will be predominantly responsible for acquiring geophysical data in the field as well as assisting data processing and interpretation when in the office. It is a great opportunity to build key industry-related skills, gain exposure to a variety of projects in the offshore renewable energy sector.Successful applicants shall have a background in geology and/or geophysics and should have a working knowledge of marine surveying. Experience working with GIS and spatial data, or experience of handling big data would be an advantage. Supported by an experienced and committed team, successful candidates will be developing skill sets to carry out the following tasks within our growing company.Role Responsibilities Undertake fieldwork for extended periods of time away from home on projects onshore and offshoreAssist with data processing of a variety of geophysical datasets, including side scan sonar, magnetometer and sub-bottom profiler data.
