Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their Offshore Wind team. The candidate will be responsible for integrating global QA/QC systems with local requirements, developing new procedures, and managing document control processes. Ensuring production, installation, and maintenance of wind turbines meet both global company standards and local UK/European requirements. The role requires expertise in ISO standards, large-scale project quality management, and document control systems, with a preference for experience in renewable energy.Responsibilities:Quality System Integration:Adapt corporate Quality Management Systems to meet UK/EU regulations and standards.Establish processes, KPIs, and metrics aligned with global objectives and local compliance needs.Quality Assurance:Conduct audits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.Address non-conformities through root cause analysis and corrective actions.Document Control:Implement and adapt document control systems to local requirements.Recruit and train staff while selecting and managing an electronic document control management system.Regulatory Compliance:Stay updated on UK/EU regulations and ensure alignment with global policies.Collaboration:Work closely with global Quality teams, suppliers, and contractors to uphold consistent standards.Continuous Improvement:Promote data-driven improvements and operational efficiencies.Team Leadership:Recruit, mentor, and lead local quality and document control teams.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent.Experience:8+ years in quality management3+ years in offshore wind experience is a mustExpertise in ISO standards, QA/QC tools, and document control systems.
