Our expertise extends to stations, depots, operations, maintenance analytics and asset management across all aspects of rail, including transport, technical and sustainability assessments and systems infrastructure.The vacancy is working as part of a JV for Anthro (Egis & VVB Engineering) to support the HS2 Old Oak Common station project where we are managing the MEPHFC package of work.This role will be based on site in London 3 days a week.Job description:As a Senior Electrical Engineer with a Building Services background. You will be a senior member of the Rail team and will be required to support the Associate Director, who leads the MEPHFC team. You will lead and manage other engineers and be responsible for the delivery of electrical designs. We are looking for someone whos dedicated, diligent, and driven, and will take this challenge head on, being an important part of a dynamic team with big ambitions.Key Responsibilities:Develop design from feasibility up to As BuiltCarrying out design reviews and working to design assurance processesHelping to grow the team and developing its technical capabilityLead & manage a small team of engineersNurture a get it right first time culture within the teamProduce and issue progress reportsPrepare & conduct presentations to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders etc.Profile:Degree in Electrical EngineeringMember of an engineering institute and has Engineering Council Professional RegistrationAt least 10 years experience in the railway industryExperience in rail station electrical services design and coordinationComprehensive knowledge of British Standards and Regulations, and Rail Standards, such as Network Rail, HS2 and TfLAbility to deliver work to a programme and budgetExcellent mentoring experienceExpert communication, organisation, and collaboration abilitiesProficient at leading meetings and presenting to clients, stakeholders, colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers etc.Excellent understanding of electrical systems from a technical, design, installation, buildability, and maintenance perspectiveKnowledge of engineering software tools including Trimble/Amtech Pro Design, Dialux or ReluxKnowledge of procurement activities and lead timesYOU MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK.Whats in it for you:By joining Egis, as well as receiving a competitive salary, youll also have the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.
