Our client is a well-established tractor and agricultural dealer with over 40 years of experience. They supply an extensive range of Agricultural and Machinery across Shropshire, Cheshire, and Mid Wales. They are now looking for an Agricultural Engineer to be based in their Holmes Chapel depot Agricultural experience is desirable but not essential. This role would also suit someone who has been working in large engine industries e.g. heavy plant, access equipment, military vehicles, lorry & construction equipment. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment in a workshop Complete all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high quality Follow all safety rules and regulations. Complete all training programs to further develop skills and knowledge. Maintain a clean work environment, and assist with overall workshop organization. The candidate: Experience performing service repairs of agricultural machinery, heavy plant, military or construction equipment. Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using correct tools and equipment, following approved techniques. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to use standard computer applications, internet, and manufacturer service portals. Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes. Good customer service skills.
