We are now looking for a pragmatic and self-motivated HR Consultant to join our team in North Baddesley, Southampton. You will be providing a full and extensive, reliable and creditable HR provision ranging from Employee Relations and case work through to full Business Partner support in a variety of sectors and industries. HR Consultant , the role: Working with our clients on all matters throughout the employee life cycle to resolve their commercial challenges Advising clients via email, telephone and face to face in timely, customer focused and professional manner (full range of HR matters but particularly Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence, Capability and Redundancy) Drafting HR, employee relations and contractual documentation Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to allow them to trust our advice Carrying out HR Audits in line with relevant procedures and getting involved in ad hoc client projects (e.g. Gender Pay Gap reports, facilitation of Value workshops) Being involved in employee engagement and reward strategies Suggesting, implementing and managing various software solutions (e.g., BreatheHR and Improve learning management systems) and other services we can offer to existing clients Ensuring compliance with all elements of employment law Taking part in settlement agreements and conciliation of Employee Relations cases Helping with the design and delivery of a range of HR and people related courses (if you want to get involved) Ensuring Pure Human Resources is continually creating efficiencies internally and for clients and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction HR Consultant , the person: Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law and its application in the workplace (we provide pragmatic and commercial advice, so practical past experience is essential) CIPD qualified to level 5 Previous, proven in-house HR experience gained in any sector (corporate or large employer exposure is desirable) Ability to manage a variety of priorities and requests from different clients no two days are ever the same here! Drive and enthusiasm to take on each task and make the process better with a can do attitude you will have a bank of your own clients to look after Personable, friendly and approachable we have a lovely team, and the dynamics are really important to us Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident using Word, Excel and Outlook as well as other IT Systems (such as HR Databases) Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel and work from client sites (these are predominately within a 15-mile radius) Desirable: Experience of designing and delivering of training courses Undergraduate degree (any subject) or equivalent Effective interviewer and facilitator (ideally knowledgeable in competency-based interviewing) CIPD Level 7 in Advanced Employment Law HR Consultant , the benefits: A great place to work we have won awards for this, and it is exceptionally important to us!
