A successful manufacturer in the Oldham area is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer and is actively interviewing now. As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance as well as getting involved in project and improvement work on site. Being manufacturing, this is a fast-paced environment where you will be challenged on a daily basis.Responsibilities for the Maintenance EngineerProactive maintenance and site PMsReactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quicklyWorking across mechanical faults and maintenanceWorking on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine outputAdhering to site Health 'safety rules and legislation on siteRequirements for the Maintenance EngineerTime-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subjectIdeally electrically biased with supporting mechanical experienceExperience working in a maintenance engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industryAbility to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environmentIf you’re interested in this opportunity and your CV is ready then hit the apply button and expect to hear from me soon.
