The Country Sales Performance Leader is sales leadership role created to grow revenues across Discovers owned and licensee offices. With full accountability to oversee revenue growth across select offices and clients, this is a key position in the vision of Discover to be the best sales company on the planet. Key responsibilities are Performance manage the offices and pursue revenue growth Work with Country Sales Leaders and account managers to strategically plan for growth Manage the sales leadership requirements in the UK market Assess performance through analytics to seek efficiencies Motivate and coach the teams to be the best in sales Strategically look ahead with an opportunity mindset Country Sales Leadership specifics Performance leadership : Demonstrate strategic sales leadership to analyse, review and recommend growth strategies with Country Sales Leaders and relevant account managers. A strong eye for detail, a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills are required. Existing client sales: Flexibility to work across the multiple client teams to understand needs and expectations, translating these into tangible plans and strategies. Targets : Help set revenue targets for the markets in conjunction with account managers and the Existing Sales Team. Work collaboratively on developing sales portfolios and client account plans. Oversee market execution of plans. Evaluate and adapt plans as needed to deliver client expectations and achieve Discover goals . Appraisal & Coaching : Know the staff, support performance metric delivery, participate in coaching and in-market assessment (working with HR and Training), to provide continuous sales performance assessment, coaching, feedback and training with local staff. Analytics : Ability to analyse results and work with the Data Team to recommend strategies to fill gaps and seek growth. Comfort with performance analysis, through spreadsheet, P&Ls and other review tools. Team management: Build and lead a team with passion, vision, energy and excitement Communicate with Team on Discover activities, goals for country performance, and recap team monthly results Administration: Coordinate with and update relevant HQ teams with needs and requests. Champion the Country Sales Leaders needs to deliver on plans. Ensure HQ is kept aware of any local employment laws or practices and we follow those for all clients Identify training needs of staff and ensure training schedules are put in place and actioned Communicate if onboarding has any gaps and team members do not receive hardware, passwords, licenses and tools to do their job Teambuilding : Be passionate about culture and embrace teamwork and personal growth through meetings, reviews and events so people feel part of Discover and not only assigned client & part of the country team. Expedia Supervision: Support as requested in the UK and through the country leaders by the Expedia teams with recruitment administration, workforce management, scheduling, and performance.
