We are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Account Handler to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for the administration of clients insurance requirements including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations, account procedures and assisting clients with claims. Provision of technical, administrative and client service support to the insurance service Sales Executives/Directors. Adherence to the FCA regulations and requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide a high level of professional advice and all-round service in all aspects of the client relationshipAnswering general enquiries, renewals, midterm adjustments as well as obtaining quotationsManage a range of larger client insurance programsHandle a varied range of new business enquiries and presentations to marketAct as a technical referral point within a well-established commercial team and offer guidance to less experienced team membersBe involved in all aspects of client engagement working closely with the senior directors and executives of the businessIdentify cross selling opportunities where appropriateBenefit from exciting and ongoing personal and career development programmesBe challenged professionally, with a varied case load of Business clients who will value your advice and serviceBe part of a growing and market leading team, well respected by clients and peers and able to broker in your clients' best interestsKnowledge, skills and abilities:A professional Insurance Account Handler, Broker or Client Service Executive seeking to progress your career or an insurance professional from another discipline keen to develop a career in a customer servicing roleHold a good knowledge of cross class commercial insurance classes with a number of years experience and a positive approachExperience of SSP and Applied Epic would be welcomeMotivated by sourcing and providing solid insurance advice and solutions for your clientsEducation and Experience:A minimum of 2/3 years in a Commercial Insurance Broking environmentA strong insurance technical ability is desirable Ability to collate information and produce reportsAble to converse at all levels and act as interface between all Insurance departments, clients and service providersAble to build positive relationships within the team, and with ClientsKey information:Hours: Monday Friday, 35 HoursLocation: BromsgroveIf this sounds like something you are interested in please apply, or contact Lucy Reed for further information.
