Youll be analysing our business strategy and the wider business environment, identifying the capabilities that the business must provide and support over the long term, and translating these into business and customer outcomes. And, with exceptional communication skills, youll gain agreement and buy-in among key stakeholders.Youll also be:Coordinating business design and aligning that to platform teams across the wider teamsInfluencing the development of business strategies at a team-wide level, identifying transformational opportunities for the businesses and technology areas associated with both new and existing technologiesAssessing portfolio and product backlogs, to maintain adherence to business strategies and capabilities, influencing stakeholders and authorities when neededUsing a broad and deep knowledge of financial services, other organisations and technology trends, raising opportunities and threats to encourage discussion and thinking for the futureResearching, understanding and keeping up to date with industry thinking, best practice, technology and customer trendsManaging the repository of business architecture models, business capability models, roadmaps, standards and outcomesThe skills you'll needWere looking for someone with experience of defining capabilities and roadmaps for complex enterprises, coupled with a background of working with business solution vendors, technology vendors and products within the market. Youll need to have an excellent understanding of Agile and contemporary methodologies with experience of working in an Agile team.Additionally, well need you to have excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts with colleagues up to senior leadership level.Well also expect:An understanding of industry capability frameworks including a knowledge of Agile P3MExperience of defining, measuring and articulating business capabilitiesA background of developing, syndicating and communicating architectures, designs and proposals for actionGood collaboration and stakeholder management skills
