At Babcock, defence logistics is more than just moving goods its about ensuring our servicemen and women have what they need, when they need it, wherever they are in the world. As a Customer Service Practitioner, youll play a key role in this mission, supporting our customer-facing functions for both Babcock and the Royal Navy. Throughout your apprenticeship, youll undertake placements within our transport department, warehousing functions, and alongside our Logistics Senior Leadership Team. These experiences will help you develop your customer service skills as you build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, each with different needs, expectations and requirements. In this role, youll be a vital source of information about our range of products and services, and youll also be the first point of contact when challenges arise. This programme will give you the communication skills and techniques you need to deliver high-quality customer service in any scenario whether youre talking to customers face-to-face, on the telephone, or through email correspondence. What youll need- GCSEs in Mathematics and English at grade 3/D are beneficial but not mandatory. For applicants who do not hold qualifications in Maths and English, please note that you may be required to undertake L2 Functional Skills in Maths and English during your apprenticeship. - Strong communication skills. - A can-do attitude, a self-motivator, and a collaborative team player. - Many of our early careers roles are subject to Security Clearance and Trade Control restrictions which mean that your place of birth, nationality, citizenship, or residency you hold or have held may impact which roles you are eligible for.
