Responsibilities: Engage and actively participate in ongoing Oracle Cloud and integration with Vertex Tax Application implementation project. This role will require an SME within the Tax module including everything (Tax, VAT, Withhold Tax). Experience on Global tax implementations thus meaning they have a good understanding of different Tax Legislations. Support assessment, design, implementation, and deployment of Oracle Cloud Financials and Vertex Tax application (O Series) Able to configure Vertex O service and use Vertex Reports and Analytics Use the Vertex reporting tool within O Series and Vertex Returns for preparing tax returns. Partner with the customer's business stakeholders to execute all phases of the implementation lifecycle - requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Architect solution options considering Vertex tax solutions - Withholding tax, billing tax, VAT and other tax solutions integrated with Oracle financials modules. Ensure high-quality and value-added documentation of functional and technical solution design for implementation review, update, and approval. Requirements: Good Knowledge of the Vertex Tax system (O-series) and integration with Oracle Cloud ERP Able to configure in O-Series and Oracle Fusion 10+ years prior experience with Oracle ERP Financials and 3+ years prior experience with Oracle Cloud Financials, with 2-3 full-lifecycle implementations, is required. Good understanding of setups in P2P, O2C. Good knowledge of the interface between Vertex and Oracle Cloud system Able to configure the Vertex Accelerator for onboarding connection, Business unit, Legal entity mappings, Source for O2C, P2P, and system calculation rule for derivation mapping. Able to configure the vertex on demand for Taxability drivers, mappings for P2P and O2C, and calculation rules.
