Daniel John Recruitment are exclusively partnering with an expanding company based near Solihull. As the Head of Finance and a member of the senior management team you will be part of a business expected to grow to £25m turnover this year. The ideal candidate will be a chartered Accountant with strong core skills in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will be responsible for supporting the Group finance function with accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), tax, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on financial performance, profitability, and resource allocation.Lead the finance team of 3 individuals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Oversee the creation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Analyse financial performance, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights for improvement.Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).Lead the management of internal and external audits, tax filings, and financial reviews. The ideal candidate will: Be qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Possess strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.Have exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Hold advanced proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, BI tools).Possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
