As the SPM, you will manage the smooth running of the production process. Ensuring all products are produced to the specified specifications with H&S at your priority. You will be involved with the planning, coordinating, and control of all manufacturing processes. As well as ensuring goods and services are produced efficiently and the correct amount is produced. Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that safe work practices are adhered to. Acquire knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, work instructions, and documentation.Development programs, Disciplinary & Grievance, Absence management investigations, etcEnsure all team members are managed following the company policies and procedures.Responsible for the leadership and mentoring of the team, which includes performance feedback and identifying and fulfilling training requirements of team membersExecute the shift training plan to improve performance and flexibility and organise any additional training through gap analysis that may beTeam Communications/meetings, providing constructive feedback, visual management, and regular performanceMaintain visibility on the production floor, driving the performance of your team and supporting functions to deliver the Manage teams through a recognised appraisal system to develop and drive performance by providing quality feedback.Build and maintain positive/professional working relationships with internal and external customer base to maximise efficiency's and resolveActively engage with the shift team to solve business problems, drawing on the expertise and talent on theParticipate and lead key business VCIProvide updates and identify trends on projects, tasks, andMonitor and oversee the production processes and adjust schedules as neededProactively support/ contribute to the Site QualityEssential Criteria3+ years of supervisory / management experience in a regulated ManufacturingWCOM / lean six-sigmaAble to communicate and motivate coherently to achieveHighly proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Word, PowerPoint andFlexibility - shiftExcellent communication skills, both written & verbalDesirable CriteriaDegree educated, preferably in a manufacturing-related discipline orNEBOSH orSAP knowledge/experience.
