Job Description

We have partnered with a creative event and brand experience agency who have a fantastic new role. They are looking for a Creative Production Director to join their design studio. Projects range from events, to photoshoots, to activations and packaging toolkits they work with big brand names in retail, lifestyle, music, beauty, fashion and luxury/premium sectors. Offices are in London, this position is studio based with some hybrid working.THE ROLEThe Creative Production Director will report into the senior leadership team and be responsible for the smooth running of a large number of projects and activations within the agency. The CPD will lead on day-to-day management of their team, being accountable for their performance and providing them with learning and development opportunities. You will manage various client teams, including senior level clients and directors, often leading on meetings with support from wider team.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLeading and producing large-scale projects and activations within the agencyLeading and inspiring the team to ensure projects are delivered successfully on time and on budget from pitch to wrap stage.Signing off on project timelines, proposals, budgets and recons, on projects under 100kManaging the teams workload; ensuring projects are evenly distributed, and that each member is getting the chance to take on new challenges whilst being supported.Supervising relevant project workflow management (CRM/Asana/Timesheets.)Supervising client communication throughout the projectResponsible for management of all suppliers, including cost negotiationsOnsite management (UK and sometimes abroad) when requiredMaking senior decisions on client accountsLine management of a project team feeding in on their goal setting, appraisals, training and developmentExpert training and coaching the team where needed across; project management, deck writing, budgetingEnsuring consistency & quality of projects and improving efficiencies within the team.Post event evaluation of all projects (lead by the producer) collating reports and actioning any feedbackSteering the team to book onto culture activities and other team bonding and/or learning ops.Making sure all projects are wrapped properlyHaving a huge input into the company culture, the way we work, the work we create and the general day to day atmosphere and aspirations of the business.Involved with resourcing - including interviewing new recruits and managing of freelance staffIdentifying opportunities for new systems to simply and speed up the way we do thingsPreparation of proposals and pitching for new businessRecognising and proactively seeking new opportunitiesEnsure annual profit targets, management of teams and suppliers and client budgetsSupporting Leadership Team in the day to day running of the agency.Proposing and pushing sustainable and responsible event options.Ensuring a smooth office running of day-to-day storage and managementYOU WILL HAVE:10 years min experience working within an event or experiential agencyWorked within the beauty, fashion, music, luxury sectors a major plusHave experience in delivering integrated campaigns involving events, knowledge of the whole production process and the ability to interpret a brand and develop creative concepts that exceed expectationsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to inspire the team to give their bestStrong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills in order to make outstanding pitchesPlenty of creative ideas and an understanding of the clients' visionAn awareness of current trends in advertising and designA self-starting attitude and an open outlookResilience under pressure and against deadlinesKnowledge of the software (workflow) and applications involved in the creative processSkills in managing people, projects and resourcesAwareness to pre-empt issues across both design and resourceHave an interest in sustainabilityPlease send CV stating your salary expectations.
