This exciting role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the organizations cybersecurity infrastructure.About the RoleAs a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be at the forefront of defending the organization against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a strong security culture. Youll work with advanced tools and platforms to safeguard networks, endpoints, and emails, while also educating staff through phishing awareness programs.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Security & Incident Response:Monitor and manage network traffic using industry-leading tools, ensuring robust perimeter security. Investigate and respond to incidents using advanced detection platforms.Email & Endpoint Protection:Administer email security solutions and endpoint protection tools to mitigate risks from phishing and malware.Phishing Awareness & Staff Training:Conduct phishing simulations and deliver targeted training to enhance cybersecurity awareness across the organization.Vulnerability & Patch Management:Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate with teams to ensure systems are patched and secure.Documentation & Governance:Maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes, while supporting compliance efforts with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other frameworks.What Were Looking For3-4 years of experience in a cybersecurity or advanced IT security role.Hands-on expertise with tools such as Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Defender, Datto EDR/AV, Mimecast, and others.Familiarity with phishing awareness tools and IT documentation platforms like IT Glue.Strong knowledge of network security, email security, and endpoint protection.About the companyThis is SME business with 100+ employees across a few offices.
