This is a key strategic hire, and the successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the growth of the business.The role:As a senior member of the claims team the Claims Adjuster will handle a variety of workstreams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on and provide in-depth exposure to Marine & Aviation Claims. This role is based in London.Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of claims, including complex cases directly with or along side colleagues whilst providing excellent customer service.Collaborate with Underwriting teams on claims and wording issues to support profitable account development and business retention.Maintain awareness of the company's risk appetites, delegated authority, financial crime, and conduct rules. Act as a values champion and comply with all relevant regulations.Requirements:5 years+ experience with Marine, Energy or Aviation ClaimsExcellent communication skills, commercial acumen, and complex problem-solving skills.Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.Creative, flexible, adaptable, and solutions-driven.Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
