The UK operations are entirely based at Summerfield, KidderminsterAbout the Role - The purpose of this role is to assure the quality of products throughout the product lifecycle with Roxel UK. This role will support the product lifecycle quality assurance through the complete production process, taking responsibility for ensuring that processes and procedures are in place and adhered to in relation to product quality.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for carrying out inspections of parts and assemblies to drawing and process requirements. Across site on any projectCompletion of minor reworks / touch ups to make product complaintSpot-checking of operators to confirm operator compliance to the MM.Raise non-conformance forms if required and inspect /Approve reworkManage own workload, liaising with the relevant cell leaders to identify and complete inspections in a timely manner.Generate, Collate, update and maintain and complete FAIR using Visual Fair as requestedCreation and Management of CMM Programs, Probes and Software updates.Problem solve CMM errors, issues, collisions.Operate CMM machines in line with business needsCreate inspection methods for underdefined or non standard inspectionsFollow business procedures and processes adhering to relevant paperworkResponsible for personal health and safety within the businessTo Mentor or teach new inspectors, knowledge sharing for progression potential within the teamConduct Audits where requested i.e. Flash, Internal, supplierAdditional duties or tasks as requested by the business requirements. QualificationsEssential Apprenticeship level 3 or equivalent in an engineering disciplineDesirable Internal Auditor AS/EN9100 trained Required SkillsQuality inspection within a manufacturing/engineering industryCMM operation/programmingFAIR generation and collationAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsProblem solving skills Preferred SkillsExperience of using root cause analysis tools (8Ds, 5 Whys etc)
