Our firm has offices in Los Angeles, New York City, Nashville, San Rafael, Wilmington, Boston, and London.We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Account Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals.Location: This position will be based from our London office on a full-time basis, with potential for hybrid working following a 3-month probation.Salary: based on skills, qualifications and experience Overview of Role: The Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for all client-related needs, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finances of their assigned clients and oversees a staff of Bookkeepers.ResponsibilitiesRespond to client enquires and requests in a timely manner, disseminating client information internally as appropriate.Liaising with the clients manager, agent, tour manager and lawyersCoordinate workflow of bookkeeping teamReview and distribute mail/email.Oversee daily client activity, including requests and timely follow up on all outstanding matters.Review of contracts and ensuring all income due is invoiced and collected on a timely basis.Review work of Bookkeepers (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, cash receipt and journal entry coding, general ledger, payroll, and financial statement review)Cash management by reviewing bank balances and statements and approving transfers as neededChecking the preparation of management commission statementsReview of VAT returnsPreparing financial projections and budgetsReview and/or preparation of management accounts including budget actual analysisMonitor credit card activity and credit score issues.Download credit card activity and order new credit cards.Monitor Insurance renewals and claims.New client set up, including bank accounts.Assist with home and car purchases including mortgage applicationsDealing with clients touring activities including: - Review of budgets with tour managers - Setting up invoice approval system - Working with the tour department to mitigate withholding taxes - Providing information for US CWA agreements on a timely basis - Reviewing and following up on box office settlements - Preparation of tour accounts including budget v actual analysis - Liaise with tour manager and artist mangerFinalization of ledgers at year end and liaison with our Internal Accounts department to ensure timely preparation of statutory accounts.Providing information re taxable income arising in the tax year to the Tax department for them to prepare the clients personal and corporate tax returns.Liaising with our royalty departments regarding complex commission and royalty payable statementsOther projects and duties, as assigned.Any other duties as required by your line manager or senior team which are proportionate to your level and remit.A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:Significant experience in a similar role in business management.A Levels and qualification in ACCA Part/ Fully qualified or equivalent.Candidate information, including education and work experience, is verified upon an offer of employment.
