You will need experience of mentoring junior members of staff and you must be qualified to 2F (Ideally you will be class 3 and 4). You will be resonsible to coaching and developing the team Reporting to the board on the successes and weaknesses of the team Upholding company values and technical standards Assisting with BSR audits Appariasala and one-to-ones with staff Assisting recruitment Developing the team and maintaining company culture This is an existing team of 12 surveyors, you will have the support of the Directors and you will be able to delegate upwards as you understand the needs of the team more. The team cover a range of projects, domestic, residential, commercial and some HRB projects. Geographically, the area extends from South Cheshire in the North of the area to Coventry/Leamington Spa in the South. The team has grown recently and varies in capability, you'll be able to delegate some management and coaching responsibility to the Principals and Team Leaders. You won't be faced with unrealistic Business Development goals and some members of the team enjoy creating new opportunities. They need a technically outstanding surveyor with strong leadership skills to continue the development of the team and keep it a cohesive machine.
