Your new company Hays Recruitment are proud to be supporting a Northwich-based SEND school that supports pupils with complex SEN and medical needs from EYFS to KS4 as they are looking to appoint a motivated and reliable teaching assistant for a full-time contract from January 2025. Your new role In your role as a teaching assistant within this school you will be supporting pupils with a myriad of SEN including ASD, non-verbal, GLD, LD and other complex needs. You will have the opportunity to work in your preferred key stage and offer a pupil-centred approach to learning to ensure that all academic, emotional and physical needs of the pupils are met. You will implement a myriad of positive behaviour strategies to effectively manage pupil triggers and behaviours, including the schools 'traffic light' system. Other duties will include; interventions and boosters, phonics, speech and language therapy and support during break and lunch times.
