Job Title

Our client is a US-based e-commerce business looking for an experienced, hands-on Financial Controller to join their team as a remote contractor working 40 hours per week. The Financial Controller will be responsible for month-end close, financial reports, long-range financial modeling, budgeting vs plan and variance analysis with commentary, payroll, and payments to suppliers. The position is very hands-on in all aspects of finance and accounting, not one where there is a team of accountants to support you. The role will function as a close partner of the CEO. Work hours on PST 8 am - 5pm M - F. At least 6 hours of overlap. Requirements: Experience with a business that has significant levels of inventory and ideally worked for an e-commerce company Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Experience as a controller or senior accountant (7+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role) Be very hands-on and highly skilled with financial models CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is a plus Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP #J-18808-Ljbffr
