Our goal is to help clients become investor-grade businesses and to grow with confidence. About the role As an Accounting Manager, you will own the month-end close process. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of weekly and monthly financial reporting. You will be responsible for all AIR and A/P activities including invoicing/collections and bill pay/cashflow management/1099's/Expense Report Management. Key Responsibilities This role is solutions-oriented and requires proactive engagement to ensure firm’s success. Oversee month-end close and all key accounting-related activities Create and/or assist with cash flow projections Financial Package Creation: Creating Management Reports with Key Metrics Accounting Package Creation: Ensuring proper reconciliations for ALL balance sheet accounts Trend analysis for both the balance sheet and P&L Manage Accounts Receivable processing and aging reports – AR collections activity will be required Manage Accounts Payable processing and aging reports and bill payments Collect W9's and handle all 1099 filings Collect expense reports and manage credit card reconciliations Manage Payroll Processing including recording journal entries and accruals Manage the transition from JustWork to Gusto Provide ad hoc reports or details as requested Maintain clean files and document storage Manage financial forecast to support growth planning Contribute to the internal team Skills 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting at a multi-client firm Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required Advanced level expertise in QBO and Excel Experience and expertise using , Gusto, and JustWorks Solid understanding of GAAP and a firm grasp of accounting best practices Solid understanding of financial statements and how to evaluate them Excellent analytical and communication skills Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time in a remote work environment Working Hours From Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
