In this role, you will be responsible for driving top line revenues for Hyatt’s managed hotel portfolio in the Latin America and Caribbean region for the Full Service, Select Service and Hyatt Inclusive Collection portfolio. You will build programming for Hyatt’s hotel sales leaders, build incentive planning for our sales population, and work closely with other top leaders in Revenue Management, Digital, Field Marketing, etc., to optimize hotel results. You will also support ownership relations for high priority projects and interface closely with development on proforma review and alignment for commercial expectations. The Role Essential Functions: Lead the RVPs of Commercial and Sales Operations Function and be indirectly responsible for all employees within the LAC Sales division for all managed hotels in Full Service, Select Service and Hyatt Inclusive Collection. Liase and support with owners' relations, representing the sales function for performance discussions and strategic plans. Actively contribute to the sales strategy and collaborate internally with key vertical business units. Set strategic action plans for each department for the year and 2+ years out. Serve as the business owner of Envision and Sales related Technology. Ensure all systems and sales procedures comply with corporate policies and risk management guidelines. Conduct development and performance evaluations of direct reports. Collaborate with other departments in the Americas to maximize synergy and resources. Lead RVPs of Commercial to test, deploy, implement, and communicate with hotels the activities of the sales operation tactical plan. Oversee Sub-Regional Sales Training Plan. Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values. Other duties may be required and/or assigned as necessary. Qualifications Previous hotels sales experience – Director of Sales required Over 10 years of strong experience in owners' relations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with sales systems such as Envision, Delphi, and other CRM platforms Strong communication skills with a proactive mindset Fluent in English and Spanish Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking and customer service skills Exceptional leadership skills, highly detail-oriented and results driven Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends Strong technical capacity with expertise in utilizing a wide range of software Ability to travel 50% of the time Ability to manage several projects at one time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and comply with strict deadlines The salary range for this position is $181,500 to $250,000.
