Job Title: Insurance Risk EngineerLocation: Barakhamba Job Type: [Full-time/Part-time/Contract) Department: Insurance (Risk Engineering / Underwriting)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Insurance Risk Engineer to assess, evaluate, and mitigate risks for our commercial and industrial insurance clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge across various sectors and provide strategic guidance to underwriters, clients, and brokers to reduce potential losses and enhance safety.Key Responsibilities:Conduct on-site and remote risk assessments for a wide range of industries (manufacturing, construction, energy, etc.).Analyze operational processes, safety systems, fire protection, security, and natural catastrophe exposures.Develop comprehensive risk assessment reports with recommendations to minimize exposure and improve risk quality.Collaborate with underwriting teams to support pricing, policy terms, and risk selection.Advise clients on loss prevention strategies, safety improvements, and risk control measures.Stay current with local codes, standards (e.g., NFPA, ISO), and regulatory requirements.Participate in training sessions, seminars, and industry conferences to remain up to date with best practices.Support claims teams during loss investigations and root cause analyses as needed.Develop strong relationships with clients to promote long-term risk management partnerships.Requirements:3–5+ years of experience in risk engineering, insurance, safety management, or a related field.Strong understanding of property and casualty risks, including fire protection systems, machinery, and natural hazards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with risk engineering software/tools is a plus.Willingness to travel for site inspections (domestic/international depending on role).
