Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced PostgreSQL with MongoDB Admin to join our dynamic team at LTIMindtree. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the PostgreSQL and MongoDB DBA.Responsibilities· As an Application Database Specialist, you will be part of a team of specialists in the Database area and support data lake solution in AWS.· You will be involved in managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle Databases both on cloud AWS and on prem. This includes Daily operation, tuning, capacity planning and consolidation.· With SQL development knowledge you will be involve in new development /enhancement along with product development team and supporting them with runtime activities· You will be involved in discussion with the different projects regarding their needs and guide them to a suitable solution.· You will be working together with the Domain Architect to create new solutions and secure our deliveries.Your profileBelow is the short summary about the ideal and successful candidate, in terms of hard and soft skills, personality and qualifications needed.· You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience in Database Administration and Application development on database side.· Experience in handling PostgreSQL & MongoDB database in production. (Mandatory skill PostgreSQL at least 3 years hands-on managing PROD systems)· Development Experience in Database area will have added advantage.· Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with NoSQL Database.· Good Experience handling database in AWS (Amazon web Services) (Mandatory skill)· Good Experience in AWS CI/CD tools .· Good Knowledge of programming in python or typescript.· Leveraging best practices in continuous integration and delivery· Ability to work independently and drive activities· Experience in leverage AWS tools to achieve a high degree of automation· Experience from implementing changes to larger database environments· Knowledge of monitoring tools outside of CloudWatch is an advantage· Knowledge of ITIL· Incident Management· Change Management· Problem Management· Experience in handling On-Call support (Mandatory skill)· Good English written and verbal – communication.Experience: 5 to 8 yearsLocation: BangaloreNotice Period: Immediate to 30 Days
