Job Title: ESG Business Development Executive (BDE)Experience: 2-5 yearsEmployment Type: Full-time About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven ESG Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, a strong understanding of ESG principles, and the ability to drive business growth by engaging with clients, stakeholders, and partners. This role involves client acquisition, strategic partnerships, research, and effective coordination to support ESG initiatives and sustainability reporting.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Client AcquisitionIdentify and onboard new clients for ESG and sustainability consulting services.Develop and deliver compelling, visually engaging presentations on ESG topics for client meetings.Conduct meetings, follow-ups, and negotiations to ensure successful client acquisition and retention.Lead proposal development and contract negotiations for sustainability projects.2. Client Engagement & Relationship ManagementCultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, government agencies, NGOs, and industry stakeholders.Provide consultative support on ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, BRSR, SASB, TCFD).Assist in organizing ESG workshops, site assessments, and client training sessions.4. Marketing & Business Development SupportCoordinate ESG marketing initiatives, track and analyze key performance metrics to refine business development strategies.5. Collaboration & CoordinationIdentify and develop strategic collaborations within the ESG ecosystem.Work closely with internal teams to deliver client-centric ESG solutions.Support multi-channel campaigns and client-targeting initiatives.Ensure the consistency and quality of BD tools, including pitch decks, proposals, and ESG reports.Qualifications & Experience:Must-Have:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.Strong knowledge of ESG principles, reporting frameworks (GRI, BRSR, SASB, TCFD), and sustainability best practices.Proven experience in successfully closing at least 5 sustainability reporting deals for global organizations.Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and CRM tools.Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with ESG data management and reporting tools.Prior experience in sustainability consulting or client-facing business development roles.Strong analytical skills to assess ESG risks, opportunities, and market trends.Ability to represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.Why Join Us?Be part of a fast-growing ESG consulting team committed to driving sustainability.Gain hands-on experience in ESG project management, client engagement, and market development.Work on high-impact sustainability projects with industry leaders and global organizations.Competitive compensation and opportunities for career growth in the rapidly expanding ESG sector.Application Process:Interested candidates should submit the following:Updated resume/CV detailing qualifications and relevant experience.Current/Past CTC details.
